CC food high-purity calcium chloride is specially formulated for use in the food and beverage industry. Produced through strict methods of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), our CC food products are widely used in the production of cheeses, beers, drinking water, pickled fruits and vegetables, and canned foods. Available as either solid white flakes or clear liquid, CC food products are highly soluble and mix well with most food liquids.

Our CC food product is a registered food additive with code E509. It is kosher certified and complies with all major international food standards, including those of the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) and the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO/JECFA). Additionally, TETRA Chemicals Europe is ISO 22000 certified for food-specific product handling.

CC food products are available as a liquid in concentrations of 34% or 36% (450 g/liter resp. 485 g/liter) in bulk or IBC containers, and as flakes at 77% in bags of 25 kg and 1000 kg.
